Meet the Advisors
Vibha is currently an undergraduate student at UT Austin majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Entrepreneurship. She has participated in numerous hackathons and has experience teaching students STEM and programming concepts. In addition to being involved in the STEM outreach community, she is passionate about community service and the future of technology. She has been awarded at the state level by the AEOP for their science fair program and has also been an officer for honor societies and clubs at her high school.
Shriya is a hardworking high school student with a passion for STEM and medicine. She has competed and won in science fairs for nearly ten years, and highly interested in biology and medicine. She recently placed 1st in Microbiology at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) and attended the highly selective Research Science Institute to conduct microbiology research at Harvard. Beyond STEM, Shriya is an avid member of Speech and Debate and has placed nationally in several speaking events.
Advisor
Dr. Kadoor is currently a 1st year medical resident at Highland Hospital - Alameda Health System, Oakland, California. He completed his medical education at UC San Diego. Before starting medical school, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from UC San Diego with a B.S in General Biology and a minor in Business. At UCSD, Adarsh has cultivated a diverse research interest – ranging from investigating nerve regeneration using stretching and decompression techniques to studying the effects of youth sports specialization on professional athletes’ injury propensity. He has also devoted considerable time to UCSD’s Student-Run Free Clinic Project, which serves the underserved and undocumented population of the Greater San Diego area. Mentorship has also long been a staple of Adarsh’s interests as well, as he has previously worked for Premed HQ to help highly motivated high school students with their college applications for both B.S/M.D and standard undergraduate programs. Outside of his academic and professional interests, Adarsh enjoys playing basketball, playing chess, spending time with family and friends, and trying new cuisines from different cultures. Adarsh is excited to bring all of this experience to his advisory role for SySTEM for Success.
